Joy Scout Learnshops offer unique learning experiences led by local artists, makers, chefs and business owners. These experiences support community and wonder through creativity while promoting the talent, knowledge and skill of local craftspeople.
40 learnshops later, these collaborations have created some magical, one-of-a-kind experiences like honey and beer pairing in a hop yard, strangers working together to choreograph a painting in the dark and the wonder of a silk scarf being printed with leaves and flowers to name a few.

What is a Learnshop?
A learnshop is a 2 to 4 hour event hosted in a local venue, demonstrating and teaching specific skills. The mission of a learnshop has two purposes:
To create learning opportunities for the passionately curious who seek to live a creatively inspired life.
To support local businesses and artist by providing them with an audience and opportunity to share their craft. Participants learn, make and take something home from each learning experience.
