The Barn ⟶

Built in 1873, The Barn is a true architectural masterpiece that has stood the test of time. With its complex system of exposed beams, braces, posts and rafters, The Barn has remained true to its original form. It remains one of the few authentic examples around today that display the intricate engineering and craftsmanship of its day.

Today, The Barn is used as an event venue perfect for any corporate, social and wedding event. With a capacity of 250 guests and outfitted with a bar, outdoor terrace, DJ booth and modern audio visual amenities, our space is well suited for any style of event.

About Cambium Farms

Nestled on 50 acres in the heart of the picturesque Caledon hills since the early 1800’s, Cambium Farms has retained all of its original charm.

Featuring an awe inspiring, authentic, century old Barn; newly renovated event space, The Byre and a fully restored Farm and Carriage House, Cambium Farms is perfect for any event, large or small.

Having changed hands only a few times in over a century, Cambium Farms is truly a hidden gem. We feel very fortunate to be able to share such an incredible piece of history with others for the most joyous of celebrations. What we offer goes far beyond the venue itself, it lies in our unconditional commitment to you. Our goal is to support and develop your vision throughout the planning process. ⟵ The Byre

The Byre (an old British term for cowshed) housed cattle and livestock for over a century and later boarded horses. Today, The Byre consists of two event spaces, the Leflar and McKinney Rooms, named after the founding families of the property. The Byre is a 5500 sq/ft intimate, elegant event space comprised of white-washed field stone walls, exposed timber columns and beams. Located in the lower level of The Barn, this event space is fully temperature controlled making it suitable for year-round events. With further expansion plans in the near future, The Byre will also have access to our super- secret Silo Bar.

The Carriage House ⟶

Built alongside The Barn, The Carriage House was originally constructed to house horse drawn carriages and related tack. With its exposed concrete walls, beautifully landscaped patio areas and the addition of a bar and lighting, The Carriage House is perfect for small intimate functions or used as a pre-dinner reception area.

To perfectly compliment The Barn, a newly constructed Terrace spanning just under 1,000 square/feet features a two-way bar and private entrance. Included in all Barn bookings and perfect for an intimate celebration, The Terrace is the ultimate location to take in the stunning Caledon landscape.
